Getting to the School

We recommend using the following resources when planning a visit to Croydon High School. Please contact the school for further information:

The senior school day runs from 08.30 until 15.45. We run a pre-school breakfast club for pupils who arrive early and there are many after-school activities, including the use of the "Learning Resource Centre" which continue until 18.00 at the latest.

The vast majority of our pupils travel to school by public transport. We are situated on the crossroads in Selsdon and bus routes 433, 64, 409, 359 and 412 all have stops within a short distance from the school gates.  Depending on which railway line/station your journey commences from, many of the local railway stations are on bus routes to Croydon High, see THIS MAP. and THIS PAGE for local transport connections.

The Croydon Tramlink's (on route 3 from Wimbledon to New Addington via West and East Croydon) nearest stop is Gravel Hill which is a few stops away on a 64 bus. You can download the Tramlink GUIDE and MAP.

We run several dedicated return minibus services, further details of which can be obtained from our Admissions Registrar.

Alternatively we do have off street "drop-off" and "pick up" points for pupils not on public or school transport links.

We also have a cycle rack for pupils who wish to cycle to school.

We are monitoring interest in transport to school from a number of local areas. Please let us know if you are interested in discussing available transport. Contact Admissions Registrar Sharon Smith at
